ABSTRACT
Different ways to achieve liquid, vapour, solution or even solid synthesis of CdTe are examined from a thermodynamic viewpoint. Thecatalytic character of the reactions of formation is stressed. The advantages of solution synthesis, mainly using the so-called Cold TravellingHeater Method (CTHM), are shown. Several kilograms of material in a run can be produced by this safe, non-expensive process, which canbe easily extended to the production of homogeneous CdZnTe. Purity, homogeneity and possibility to obtain a composition corresponding tothe congruent sublimation line are among the assets of this technique.

چکیده
روش های مختلف سنتز از مایع، بخار، محلول یا حتی سنتز در حالت جامد نیز از نقطه نظر ترمودینامیکی بررسی شد. خواص کاتالیزوری واکنش های تشکیل بیان گردید. مزایای روش سنتز از محلول و به ویژه با استفاده از روشی با نام “Cold Travelling Heater Method” (CTHM) نشان داده شد. چندین کیلوگرم از ماده با استفاده از این فرآیند ایمن و ارزان قیمت قابل تولید است که به آسانی می توان آن را در مورد تولید CdZnTe همگن نیز به کار گرفت. خلوص، همگنی و امکان دستیابی به یک ترکیب منطبق با خط “تصعید متجانس”، جزء مزایای این روش است.
